Canada's Marihuana Medical Access Regulations were repealed and replaced by Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations. The regulations create conditions for a commercial industry that is responsible for the production and distribution of marijuana for medical purposes. In other words, medical marijuana users must buy directly from commercial-sized operations authorized to grow and sell pot by Health Canada, in accordance with strict new regulations (rather than grow their own cannabis or purchase from small scale producers).
