The Drugs and Drug trafficking Act is passed in South Africa

In 1992, the Drugs and Drug trafficking Act is passed in South Africa, defining the use or possession of substances relating to the drug trade as illegal. The manufacture or supply of such substances is also defined as illegal. The Drugs and Drug trafficking Act also makes it mandatory for an individual to disclose any information related to a drug offence to a legal authority.
