Coffee spreads to Constantinople and becomes extremely popular

When Sultan Selim I annexes Arabia and Egypt to the Ottoman Empire, coffee spreads to Constantinople. The popularity of coffee increases, as women take up drinking coffee and it is used to invigorate warriors and philosophers alike. Coffee is even declared to be nutritive and of equal importance to water and bread.
