Introduction of tobacco to Eastern Europe

Sailors from Western Europe introduce tobacco to Eastern Europe around 1600 CE. English sailors carrying tobacco introduce it to the Baltic, while ships traveling from Poland and Germany introduce it into inland Russia. As a result, smoking begins to spread across Eastern Europe.
