The Doors of Perception is a short book by Aldous Huxley, in which he details his experiences with taking mescaline. Huxley discusses his recollection of a mescaline trip that took place during an afternoon of 1953, which happened under the supervision of Dr. Humphry Osmond. Huxley recalls the insights he experienced during the trip and incorporates later reflections on the experience of his trip.
